Clinical Skin Care
Foundations of Clinical Skin Care
This comprehensive, eight-hour course provides you with the basic principles and practices of clinical skin care essential to every successful aesthetic practice. The course content is formulated from basic skin care principles as well as acquired clinical knowledge and experience.
The course is presented in a small group setting that is conducive to learning. The morning session will focus on the anatomy and physiology of the skin. The key elements to the client consultation and treatment process will be covered. Skin care products and treatment options will be described in detail while incorporating pathophysiology of the skin.
The afternoon session will provide both discussion and interaction with live demonstrations of current treatment modalities. The importance of combination therapy, client safety and management of adverse outcomes will be presented throughout the program.
