Dawn’s enduring dedication to the specialty of plastic surgical nursing has driven
her passion for non‐surgical aesthetics.

Having received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee in 1987, Dawn has spent 24 years in both aesthetic and reconstructive surgery, focusing on research, education and clinical practice.

Dawn spent a decade at the Medical College of Wisconsin, Department of Plastic Surgery, after which time she assisted in establishing a successful private aesthetic surgery practice with a nationally recognized leader in anti‐aging and plastic surgery. Most recently, she founded Refresh Aesthetic Center and has partnered with an innovative plastic surgeon to provide non‐surgical aesthetic services in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

As a Certified Plastic Surgical Nurse (CPSN) for the past 21 years, Dawn recognizes the value of specialty training. Her devotion to ongoing education led to Dawn’s current involvement as Vice President and Clinical Instructor with Aesthetic Advancements, Inc., a national resource for clinical instruction on nonsurgical aesthetic procedures, such as botulinum toxins, dermal fillers, sclerotherapy, lasers and skin care. AAI offers individual and group instruction and as a company, has trained more than 5000 practitioners nationwide, with Dawn having personally trained nearly 1000 providers over the last 7 years.

Having served on nearly 20 different committees and professional boards, Dawn Sagrillo has been actively involved in the American Society of Plastic Surgical Nurses, Inc. since 1988 and served many years on the Plastic Surgical Nursing Certification Board and the Plastic Surgical Nursing Journal Editorial Board. Dawn has published more than 50 articles and is sought after for community speaking engagements as well as peer to peer presentations at national industry meetings.

Understanding the art and science of facial aesthetics has given Dawn Sagrillo a reputation that is known and respected by her peers on local and national levels. Dawn’s patients are the beneficiaries of many years of dedication to the specialty of aesthetic medicine. Her artistic eye and precise attention to detail provide results that complement her patient’s personality, lifestyle, and aesthetic objectives.
