Kelly Wala, RN, BSN, a graduate of Eastern Kentucky University, began her nursing career in 1994 in the Cardiovascular Unit in Lexington, Kentucky. After 8 years of Critical Care experience, she became a Cardiovascular Nurse Specialist and worked for a leading Cardiovascular Surgeon as his physician extender. She was also involved with heart valve and electrophysiology cardiac research studies.

Kelly extended her nursing experience to the field of Cosmetic Dermatology in 2004. She works as an Aesthetic Nurse Specialist in Austin, Texas, providing clients with treatments of Botulinum Toxin Type A (BOTOX® Cosmetic) and injectable dermal fillers along with laser rejuvenation treatments. Kelly is in management and serves as the Laser Safety Officer for the dermatology practice where she is employed.

Kelly is a member of the Texas Board of Nursing and the American Society of Laser Medicine and Surgery.
