Aesthetic Applications of Botulinum Toxin Type A : Fundamental Techniques
This comprehensive 8.5 hour hands-on aesthetic instructional course details the latest cosmetic applications and techniques utilized by respected and expert international injectors of Botulinum Toxin Type A Cosmetic (onabotulinumtoxinA) and Dysport® (abobotulinumtoxinA), as well as preparation and usage of each product. This course is offered to clinicians without previous experience in delivery of Botulinum Toxin Type A cosmetic treatments or having less than one year experience routinely injecting either of the currently FDA approved cosmetic neurotoxin products.
Course content consists of:
Morning lecture focusing on principles and practices for achieving optimal results for facial shaping as well as wrinkle/crease reduction and facial rejuvenation.
- Step-by-step instruction for successful and safe treatment of appropriate sites of the upper face is provided.
- Detailed instruction in conducting an effective consultation, medical record documentation and risk management are also included.
- In-depth education and interactive review of Facial Enhancement Procedures and physiology equip you to confidently determine the best treatment plan using Botulinum Toxin Type A.
- Also discussion about how to most effectively combine Botulinum Toxin Type A (Botulinum Toxin Type A Cosmetic or Dysport®) with other non-surgical modalities for total rejuvenation is provided.
Afternoon is dedicated to hands-on injecting experience learning of basic principles as well as best practices using the Botulinum Toxin Type A, Botulinum Toxin Type A Cosmetic. Our highly qualified instructors provide one-on-one teaching that is tailored to your existing experience as an injector, skill level and educational needs. AAI’s limited class size ensures each clinician receives optimal time to practice new techniques and build confidence as an injector.
This Fundamental Botulinum Toxin Type A Instructional Course offers review and perfection of techniques for the upper face sites, glabella (FDA cleared site), and horizontal forehead lines, crow’s feet, brow lifting, lower lids and bunny lines (off label sites).
Included with the course are clinical resources such as the comprehensive course manual, quick reference guides and a CD ROM of examples of clinical forms.
